Problem Details
The Problem Details view is the Problem Details tab inside the Network Optimization Suggestion modal. It explains the original issue that the selected solution is intended to resolve, including the problem’s state, confidence, evidence, and history.
Key areas#
- Problem statement — a description of the detected network issue. For example, broad traffic-timing instability where many devices transmit in concentrated bursts rather than evenly through the day.
- Workflow status pill — indicates the current investigation stage, such as Investigating.
- Problem state and confidence — shows whether the problem is Supported and a confidence percentage reflecting how strongly the system backs the finding.
- First-seen and last-seen dates — timestamps showing when the problem was first detected and when it was most recently observed.
- Evidence signals — a summary of the measurable network behaviors that confirm the problem is still relevant.
- History timeline — a chronological record of how the problem has evolved across analysis runs.
How to use this view#
Validate the problem#
Read the problem statement to verify that the recommendation addresses the operational issue you care about. Check the problem state and confidence to understand the strength of the finding.
Assess persistence#
Review the first-seen and last-seen dates to judge whether the issue is new, persistent, or recently observed. A long gap between dates suggests a recurring pattern.
Review evidence#
Use the evidence signals to connect the problem back to measurable network behavior. This is especially useful when the suggestion requires configuration changes, device timing changes, or gateway work that should be justified by data.
Trace problem evolution#
Read the history timeline to see how the problem changed across analysis runs. This helps you understand whether the issue is stable, worsening, or improving.
Return to implementation guidance#
Switch to the Suggestions tab when you are ready to follow the implementation steps in the solution details view.
Dismiss the suggestion#
Click Dismiss this suggestion at the bottom of the modal to hide the recommendation from the Action Center.
